王莽时代的礼仪建筑与国家重造 被引量:1

摘要 在中国历史上,王莽是一个备受争议的人物。从他执掌国政到新朝覆亡,前后31年,但这短暂的时间却在中国建筑史上留下了值得注意的印记:首先,他接续了西汉后期的儒家化潮流,将汉高祖至武、宣时期的欲望性建筑彻底置换为伦理性建筑,从而导致了汉代建筑观念的重大转折;其次,他将建筑视为复兴周制的象征,赋予了建筑与建国相等同的含义。由此,建筑也就超越了建筑自身,成为儒家价值观念的物态形式;第三,他通过对王城乃至天下国家重新命名的方式,实现建筑意义的语言学置换,不但拓展了建筑概念的语义边界,而且使其从一般意义上的艺术、美学问题,最终擢升为政治、哲学问题。要言之,王莽由礼仪建筑营造进而引发的国家重建运动,为后人呈现了一种广义的建筑学,同时也为理解中国古代建筑与儒家思想的交互关系,提供了一个不可复制的历史范例。 In the history of China,Wang Mang has always been a controversial figure with 31 years of reign. However,this short period of ruling left us with impressive architecture. First,inheriting the Confucian fashion in the late Western Han Dynasty,he completely changed the architecture of desire which lasted from Emperor Gaozu of Han to Emperor Wu of Han and Emperor Xuan of Han into the architecture of moral,resulting in a great transition in terms of the architecture notion in the Han Dynasty. Secondly,he treated the architecture as the symbol of system rejuvenation of the Zhou Dynasty,giving equal connotation of nation construction to the architecture. Thus,the architecture goes beyond itself and becomes a physical form of Confucian value. Thirdly,he achieved a linguistic substitution in the sense of architecture by renaming the royal city and other places,which not only extended the semantic boundary of the architecture concept,but also made the issue of architecture develop from an artistic and aesthetic level to a political and philosophical level. In a word,the rite architecture of Wang Mang brings about the nation reconstruction,which proposes the architecture notion in a broad sense. Meanwhile,it also provides us with an unduplicable example in the history in understanding the relationship between Chinese ancient architecture and Confucianism.
