Excel is good software for calculation. The applications of Excel in chemical pipeline calculation were introduced. They overcame the shortcomings of the heavy and complex trial and error method. The obtained results through Excel software are more accurate and reasonable than through trial and error method. Teaching practice proved Excel software could simplify data processing and effectively improved students′ data processing skills.
