The Breeding Process of the Sugarbeet Variety Tianyan 202

甜研202品种是二倍体雄性不育杂交品种。1973年开始其亲本的选育,1990年品种育成。该品种的母本为MS102多粒型二倍体雄性不育系,授粉系为二倍体多粒型自交系MP206和二倍体多粒型品系MP208。两年生产试验结果与当地主推品种比较,平均块根产量提高11.2%,含糖率提高0.6度,产糖量提高14.1%。

The sugarbeet variety Tianyan 202 15 a diploid male sterile hybrid. Its parent selection was began in 1973 and its rearing was in 1990.The maternal of this variety is the diploid multigerm male sterile line MS102 and its pollinators are the diploid multigerm inbred strain MP206 and the diploid multigerm line MP208.The results of two-year production test with the variety Tianyan 202 showed,compared with those of the main popularized sugarbeet variety in the area where the production test was conducted,that the average sugarbeet root yield had increased by 11.2%,the average sugar content had increased by 0.6 percent point and the average sugar yield had inereased by 14.1%.
