On December 5th, the ceremony of the 50 years birthday of Naihuo Cailiao （Refractories, a Chinese bimonthly which is famous in China＇s refractories field） and the 25 years birthday of China＇s Refractories and the refractories technology symposium were held successfully in Luoyang, China. Over 100 colleagues and friends in China＇s refractories industry and the related industries including 40 members of the editorial committees of the two journals attended the conference.
