3D动画电影《小王子》以一位已被成人同化、成为成人眼中“有用”的人而规规矩矩生活的小女孩为主角，讲述她在《小王子》这部童话的影响下如何改变自己心灵和生活的故事。电影虽采用全新故事撰架，但秉承了与原著相通的精神，通过对成人世界物化、空虚状态的置疑和否定与对人本真状态的肯定，来表达自己的态度。

The 3D animated movie Little Prince takes a girl who is assimilated by adults and considered one of those ＂useful＂ and obedient people as the protagonist. It tells a story of her being changed by a fairy tale called Little Prince. Although the movie takes on a new story, it inherits the same spirit with the original work. It seeks to praise the true and innocent state of people by denying the materialism and venality of adults＇ world.
