How to cultivate cross-cultural communicative competence is a hot topic in the business English education circle. This article explores the rationality of using English drama performance to cultivate the cross-cultural communicative competence of higher vocational college business English majors. Research conducted by both overseas and domestic experts shows that English drama performance can motivate students' initiative to the largest extent and receive excellent teaching effect. This article discusses how Hunan Vocational College of Foreign Languages applies the English drama performance to comprehensively enhancing students' cross-cultural communicative competence through three periods: preparation,rehearsal and performance in detail.
