社会工作增权视角下妇女庇护所防治家暴实践

Empowerment Practice in Women's Shelter

诸多实证研究发现,增权对提升受家暴妇女生活自主抉择权具有积极作用。本文通过对国内外文献的回顾,探讨增权的定义、针对受暴妇女的增权,以及增权理论在妇女庇护所防治家暴服务中的运用。增权是目标也是一个过程,妇女庇护所不仅起着临时安全居所的作用,更要协助妇女调动内部和外部资源,完成其增权目标,并持续地评估进展,确保在此过程中没有出现新的失权。

The empowerment of people has become the core mission of the social work profession. A growing body of literature has shown that empowerment helped survivors gaining control of their lives. The paper reviewed the concept of empowerment, empowerment of survivors, and empowering survivors in shelters. Empowerment is a goal and a process. Shelters not only provide a safe place to survivors but also help them making progress toward their goals, drawing on their internal and external resources, and reflects on the progress and new sources of disempowerment. Shelters share an equal relationship with survivors, not a patron-client relationship
