This paper explores the generation methods and the structure of the Si Sheng Residence in Zhuji, Zhejiang, which is the research object, The paper begins with the discussion of the concept, basic characteristics and cultural and historical relevance of courtyard-space under the guidance of Typology; and then discusses the deep structure of the control of Type-to-Architecture basing on Structuralism.
