摘要
类胡萝卜素是高等植物必不可少的一类色素物质,能够保护植物组织勉受强光破坏,同时还是合成维生素A的前体,对人类的营养和健康起着重要的作用。类胡萝卜素的代谢途径已经清楚,近十几年来的研究主要集中于类胡萝卜素代谢的调控机理。本综述介绍了植物类胡萝卜素代谢的调控机理及基因工程方面的研究进展,并对今后类胡萝卜素的代谢调控研究进行了展望。
Carotenoid i s a type of pigments essential for higher plants, which is able to protect plant tissue to avoide damage from strong light as well as a precursor for synthetising vitamin A. Carotenoid plays an important role in human nutrition and health. Metabolic pathway of carotenoid has been clear. Research over the last decade mainly focused on the regulation mechanism of carotenoid metabolism. This review introduced the research advances on metabolism regulation mechanism and genetic engineering of plant carotenoid, and prospected study on metabolic regulation of carotenoid in the future.
