中英文双语出版对中国科技期刊国际化的启示

Enlightenment on the internationalization of scientific journals' bilingual publication in Chinese and English

【目的】论述中国科技期刊中英文双语出版发展情况,为中国科技期刊国际化道路提供参考。【方法】通过调查分析,提出我国科技期刊中英文双语出版历经了兴起发展、发展转变和大型数据库集中数字中英双语出版的三个阶段,并阐述中英文双语出版三个发展阶段分别对我国科技期刊国际化的积极推动作用。【结果】随着我国经济社会、文化教育的发展,国内以期刊为主体的中英文双语出版逐步向中、英文版独立出版转变,当前中英文版双语出版三个发展阶段在不同的科技期刊个体中共存,共同向世界介绍中国的科技发展成果。【结论】中英文双语出版对中国科技期刊国际化有重要促进作用,大型数据库集中把中国优秀期刊优质论文实行中英文对照双语数字出版,是今后科技期刊中英文双语出版发展的重要方向。

[Purposes] The development of Chinese and English bilingual publication in scientific journals is discussed,which provides references of internationalization for other scientific journals in China. [Methods] Through investigation and analysis,it was proposed that Chinese and English bilingual publication in scientific journals has undergone three stages,i. e. the stage of rise and development,the stage of development and transformation for individual English scientific journals,and the stage of group digital Chinese and English bilingual publication for large databases. Chinese and English bilingual publication played a positive role in promoting the internationalization for scientific journals in these various stages respectively. [Findings]With the development of economy,culture and education in China,the Chinese and English bilingual publishing has changed gradually to the independent publishing in Chinese version and English version respectively. The three development stages of the Chinese and English bilingual publication are coexisting in different individual scientific journals,and they introduce the achievements of China＇s science and technology to the world together. [Conclusions] The bilingual publication in Chinese and English plays an important role in promoting the internationalization of China＇s scientific journals. The large databases centrally carry out the Chinese and English bilingual digital publication for high quality papers,which is the important development direction of Chinese and English bilingual publication in the future.
