Enlightenment of Russia's Language Spread Strategy to the International Spread of Chinese Language

This paper introduces the background and contents of language spread policies in different stages of Russia and concludes the main implementation approaches：setting up specialized agencies for promoting the language spread;holding cultural exchange activities to carry out cultural diplomacy;using mass media to broaden the channels of communication. And then it puts forward four enlightenments for the international spread of Chinese language：optimizing the layout and promoting the career of language spread based on the national developing strategy;paying attention to the continuity and stability of language spread policy, ensuring the healthy develop- ment of language spread career;enhancing cultural confidence and playing the cultural and diplomatic functions of the language communication agencies;strengthening the division and cooperation and constructing the effective communication system of Chinese language
