江苏省城市竞争力比较研究——基于因子分析和聚类分析

A Comparative Study of Urban Competitiveness of the Cities in Jiangsu Province on the Basis of Factor and Clustering Analysis

参考可持续发展指标体系的相关原则,选用综合经济实力、基础设施服务、社会事业与人力资源这3个一级指标,以及地区生产总值、邮政业务量、科技事业支出等24个二级指标,建立城市竞争力的测度模型,运用因子分析法和聚类分析法,计算2013年江苏省13个地级市的城市竞争力。结果表明江苏省的城市发展不均衡现象明显,最后对江苏省的城市发展提出政策建议。

Following the principles of sustainable development index system and selecting three tlrst-levei malca- tors such as comprehensive economic strength, infrastructure services and social cause and human resoures as well as twenty-four second-level indicators including GDP, postal business volume, science and technology spending, a measurement model of urban competitiveness is established and both factor analysis and clustering analysis methods are used to calculate the urban competitiveness of 13 cities of Jiangsu province in 2013. The re- sults indicate that there exist a significant imbalance in the development levels of the 13 cities in Jiangsu Province. Finally, some suggestions on further urban development are put forth for reference in policy-making process.
