Logical Implication and Logical Art of English Discourse

The logical implication of English discourse includes three aspects as thinking pattern is linear type,phrases adopt Hypotaxis, cohesive devices are explicit. Meanwhile the logical art of English discourse is to regularize the above logical implication and put it into the practice of discourse output. Based on the logical implication of English discourse, the paper put forward that the logical art of English discourse should be linear thinking, tree structure and explicitation of cohesive devices which can be applied to discourse output. The research provides a more reliable theory and more effective practical method for instructing English discourse output.
