黄秋葵新品种‘绿白1号’的选育

Breeding of A New Okra Cultivar 'Lvbai No.1'

‘绿白1号’是从台湾引进的‘五福’黄秋葵品种中发现的绿白色果实变异单株经多代系谱选育而成的黄秋葵新品种。该品种丰产性好，耐热、耐涝性强，抗病性强。从播种到始收60d左右，株高1．5～2．0m，叶形掌状深裂，叶色绿；主、侧枝均可结果，主枝第5节开始结果，嫩果色绿自，果面光滑，直五棱形，横径2．5cm，纵径12cm，单果重30g；果实纤维少、不易老化，口感嫩滑，品质好。

Okra cultivar ＇ Lvbai No. 1 ＇ was a new one bred from multiple generations of mutation individual of introduced ＇ Wufu＇ with green white fruit by pedigree method, showing high yield, high tolerance to heat, high tolerance to waterlogging and high resistance to diseases. Its growth period was about 60 d from sowing to harvest. It had somecharacteristics including height of 1.5 to 2. 0 m, palmate and deeply lobed leaf shape, green leaf, fruiting at main and lateral branch, especially at the fifth node of main branch, young fruit showing green white, smooth fruit skin, five-side fruit shape, transverse diameter of 2. 5 cm, vertical diameter of 12 cm, average fruit weight of 30 g, less fruit fibre, non-aging, tender and smooth taste and high quality.
