从改善糖尿病脂代谢紊乱以及治疗糖尿病大血管病变、糖尿病肾病、糖尿病心肌病、糖尿病骨骼肌病变及其机制6方面入手对参芪复方治疗糖尿病及其慢性并发症的动物实验研究进行综述,指出大量动物实验研究已证明参芪复方除了具有降糖、降脂作用外,在防治糖尿病相关并发症包括糖尿病大血管病变、糖尿病肾病、糖尿病心肌病、糖尿病骨骼肌等方面具有多重作用,其机制不仅限于血糖、血脂的下降,减轻糖脂毒性,也包括抑制氧化应激、抑制细胞凋亡、抗炎、抗纤维化等多重作用。
