The Implication of Applying Computer Technology in Career Counseling of American Higher Education

生涯咨询起源于美国文化与社会中的助人关系,计算机出现伊始便应用于该领域。基于与生涯理论与实践,业界已建立了计算机技术在高校生涯咨询中应用的道德与能力规范,并形成了大学生咨询服务、电子支持、师资培养等三个应用领域。尽管遇到了资金短缺等发展问题,但美国国内与我国等国际市场同时存在机遇,并能带来互惠发展。

Career counseling originated from the helping relationship in American culture and society. Computer was applied in career counseling of higher education since it came out, and then combined with career theory and practice. Currently, the ethics and competence norm for guiding the further development of computer technology in career counseling has been made and three application fields of counseling service, electronic support and teacher training have been formed. Although career counseling was faced with the challenge of funding shortage, the opportunities provided by American and domestic markets could bring about mutual development.
