The Evolution of the Artistic Style of Pottery Ornamentation in Zhaobaogou Culture and Its Relationship with Primitive Religion

本文从艺术发展史的角度论述了赵宝沟文化陶器纹饰艺术与原始宗教信仰之间的关系。陶器的纹饰是远古先民受陶器制作过程中陶器本身肌理纹样的启发而产生的。随着时间的推移以及与原始宗教信仰的发展,二者不断结合,纹饰本身开始逐渐具有独立意义。随着先人审美意识的增强,陶器纹饰就有了宗教信仰与审美意识两种取向。

The paper discusses the relationship between the artistic style of pottery ornamentation in Zhaobaogou culture and primitive religion from the perspective of artistic phylogeny. Pottery ornamentation is the product of ancient ancestors inspired by the texture patterns of potteries in the process of making pottery. With the time passing and the development of primitive religion,and the integration gradually makes the ornamentation with independent meaning. Enhancement of aesthetic consciousness of ancient an-cestors makes the pottery ornamentation with religion and aesthetic consciousness.
