译者主体性内外因素于科技翻译之体现——以物理文本为例

Internal and External Factors of Translator's Subjectivity in Scientific Translation: A Case Study of Physics Text

我国科学技术的发展以及国际化水平不断提高,但随之产生的科技翻译现象却良莠不齐。物理文本是科技文本中具有代表性的一种,以物理文本为例,通过分析物理学专业术语及句子的翻译来探讨译者主体性的内外因素,包括horizon(眼界),prejudice(偏见),knowledge(知识水平),values(价值体系),orientation(意图)以及competence(能力)等如何在科技翻译中得到体现,初步验证译者主体性在科技翻译中的可操作性,从而为科技翻译理论添砖加瓦,同时为进一步提高我国科技翻译水平提供一定的参考。

In contrary to the development and internationalization of science and technology in China,scientific translation is not w ell-developed yet. As a typical scientific text,physics text is analyzed and examined w ith a focus on the translation of technical terms and sentences so as to research the internal and external factors of the translator ＇s subjectivity, including horizon, prejudice, know ledge,values,orientation, competence, and so forth. Therefore, the applicability of the translator ＇s subjectivity in scientific translation can be preliminarily evaluated so that some references w ould be provided for the theoretical and practical research of scientific translation.
