英汉运动事件结构对比分析

A Contrastive Study of English and Chinese Motion Event Constructions

以Talmy的词化类型学理论为基础,对比分析英汉运动事件结构,包括中性运动事件,方式/原因运动事件和路径运动事件结构.结果表明,英汉运动事件结构具有不同程度的相似性.二者既有一致性,又存在词汇、词序及结构上的不一致.通过揭示这种不同程度的相似性,进一步促进关于跨语言相似性对中国英语学习者运动事件表达影响的研究.

Based on Talmy＇ s lexicalization typology, this paper makes a study of the differences between English and Chinese motion event constructions, including neutral motion event construction, manner/cause motion event construction and path motion event construction, which suggests that there exist varying degree of similarity between English and Chinese motion event constructions （i.e. congruence, lexical incongruence, word order incongruence and structural incongruence）. It aims to promote the study on the effects of the varying degree of cross-linguistic similarity between English and Chinese on Chinese EFL learners＇ motion event expressions.
