影视字幕翻译中文化词汇翻译策略研究——以影片“霍比特人3”为例

A Study on the Translation Strategies of Culture-Specific Items in Subtitle Translation——A Case of the Film of The Hobbit 3

以影片"霍比特人3"为个案,结合影视语言特征,探究了影视字幕翻译中文化词汇翻译策略.研究发现译者在进行影视作品翻译时,应该根据影视作品语言特点进行处理.影视作品的翻译既要尽量做到"忠实",又要做到不同文化群体之间的有效"交际",当"忠实"与"交际"不可兼得时,应根据影视语言的多元化特点,以"忠实"为主.

This study, based on the characteristics of film and TV language, explores the translation Strategies of Culture-Specific Items in Subtitle Translation. The research finds that ＂faithfulness＂ is the same important as ＂communication＂ in the translation. ＂Faithfulness＂ should be adopted if both of the ＂faithfulness＂ and ＂communication＂ can＇ t be achieved.
