职业导向背景下的高职英语教学改革策略探究

The Strategy of Higher Vocational English Teaching Reform under the Background of Career Orientation

高等职业教学的目的是培养学生的职业能力和专业素养,使其能够胜任技术性的职业,并为职业发展提供动力;高职英语教学的目标也不例外,一方面的任务是使学生奠定良好的英语知识基础,更重要的任务是培养与提高与未来职业和专业有关的现实的英语运用能力;因此,高职英语教学要坚持职业就业导向,推动英语与专业的结合、教学与岗位需求的结合,使学生具备职场所需的交流、沟通、阅读、写作及翻译等能力;分析了当前高职英语教学中存在的问题,并以职业导向为背景,对高职英语教学改革的策略进行了探究。

The aim of higher vocational teaching is to cultivate students＂ professional abilities and pro- fessional qualities, to make it possible for students to be qualified for technical professions and to promote professional development. The aim of higher vocational English teaching is no exception. One task of higher vocational English teaching is to help students to establish a solid base in English, the other more important task is to cultivate and improve students＇ proficiency in using English that related to their future careers and professions. Therefore, higher vocational English teaching should stick to the career orienta- tion. It should promote the integration of English and profession and the combination of teaching and ca- reer requirements. Students should be equipped with the ability to communicate, read, write and translate that needed by the workplace. This paper analyzes the problems in current higher vocational English teach- ing and explores the strategies of higher vocational English teaching reform under the background of career orientation.
