塑料光纤(POF)主要应用于低速、短距离的传输中,在汽车、消费电子、工业控制总线系统和互联网领域发展前景良好。目前POF的研究重点是:努力降低衰减、设法减少色散、完善制造工艺、提高环境性能以及扩大应用领域。
The plastic optical fiber(POF)is mainly used in the low -speed and short-dis tance transmission.It has great fore ground of development in automo bile,consumer electron ics,industrial control bus system and In ternet.The key points in the re search of POF are:to decrease attenuation,reduce dispersion,perfect manufacturing technics,improve environ-ment performace and enlarge application field.
