An Exploration of Newly Developing Kinship Quasi-affixes

新世纪以来"哥、弟、姐、妹、爷、嫂、爸、妈"等类词缀大量造出新词语,其造词的语义理据包括事件造词、现象造词、人名造词三种方式。从表达色彩看,除了"嫂"之外,其他类词缀构成的新词语一般都具有调侃色彩;从造词能力看,各亲属义类词缀差别很大,其中"哥"和"姐"的造词能力最强,这种造词能力的差别,既和语素的概念内涵有关,也和社会文化有关,是内因和外因相互作用的结果。

Since the new century,some quasi-affixs have been uses to form new worss frequently, such as“Ge（ elser brother）,Di（ younger brother）,Jie（ elser sister）,Mei（ younger sister）,Ye（ a re-spectful form of appellation for an elserly man）,Sao（ sister-in-law）,sas,mom”,ect. The seman-tic motivation that uses these quasi-affixes in wors-formation incluses three ways：wors-forma-tion by event,wors-formation by phenomenon,wors-formation by name. From the aspect of emo-tional coloring,expect“Sao”,worss formes by other quasi-affixes always have the meaning of risi-cule. As the wors-formation ability is concernes,these quasi-affixes of kinship appellation noun are quite sifferent from each other. Among them,“Ge”ans“Jie”make the strongest terms. The sifference of the wors-formation ability is relates with both the conceptual intent of the morpheme ans social culture. It is the result of interaction of internal ans external factors.
