Recall and Rethink:My Research of the Oirat Mongolian History

本文是作者研究卫拉特蒙古历史四十余年历程的追忆与感悟。全文分如下七题:一、研究之缘起;二、准噶尔史研究;三、研究拓展之一:从准噶尔史、土尔扈特史到卫拉特史论与通史研究;四、研究拓展之二:从卫拉特蒙古到新疆蒙古史研究;五、走出学术研究的象牙塔;六、研究之感悟与感激;七、研究永远不打句号。

This paper is to recall and conclude of my career of Oirat Mongolian history research for more than 40 years.The whole paper talks about seven topics including reason for my research,Zungarian history research,first expanding of research field stretching from Zungarian and Torghut history to Oirat history and general Oirat history,second expanding of research field stretching from Oirat Mongolian history to the Xinjiang Mongolian history,fading out of the ivory tower of academic studies,the feeling and gratitude and in the end a saying:research will never ends.
