交换机的带外管理是指计算机通过配置线缆连接计算机和交换机并使用计算机上的超级终端登录交换机来实现对交换机进行管理和配置的方法。文章针对因计算机接口与交换机配置线缆接口不一致等原因而导致的计算机无法与交换机通讯的问题,提出了使用USB/DB9转换器在计算机的USB接口和交换机配置线缆的DB9接口之间进行转接以及通过下载的for WIN7的超级终端登录交换机的方法,有效地解决了只有USB接口和安装了WIN7及WIN7以上(文章以WIN7为例)操作系统的计算机无法进行带外管理的问题。
