The Temperament Background of Five Yun and Six Qi

[目的]探讨五运六气理论的音律背景,以了解音律在运气理论中的作用。[方法]以文献研究的方法,探究音律的起源、形成、意义及其对运气理论的影响。[结果]在没有文字记载的远古时代就有音乐,没有甲子和历法之前就有乐和音律的记载。五音代表了天地阴阳的升降出入开阖。律吕之音出于上古,与天地二十八宿相关,可以反映天地之气开阖、阴阳离合之道,以音律类比二十四节气,音律是气化运动所产生的节律象。汉代认为历法生于律吕,古人认为,音出于心,五音还可以反映人的心理,明晓律吕五音,可以指导行为法则。《内经》七篇大论没有过多地探讨音律与天地阴阳人体生命发病的关系,但在运气理论中以五音建运,并在许多篇章中多有论述。[结论]解读音律背景在五运六气理论研究中具有重要的意义。

[Objective]To discuss the temperament background of Five Yun and Six Qi and know the effect of temperament in Five Yun and Six Qi theory.[Methods]Using the method of literature studies to explore the origin, formation, significance and effect on Yun Qi theory of temperament. [Results] There was temperament in the ancient times without written records.Records about temperament were earlier than Jia Zi and calendar.Five temperament responses‘ascending, descending, exiting, entering and Kai-he＇of Yin and Yang.The Temperament Lv originated from ancient times and related with 28-star,showing Kai-he of Qi and‘redivision and reunion＇of Yin and Yang.The ancients compared temperament to the 24 solar terms.Han dynasty held the idea that calendar was created by The Temperament Lv and the temperament could reflect the psychology of human.Thus understanding temperament can guide the law of action.Seven chapters in Nei Jing discussed little about the relationship between temperament and morbidity of body while discussing much more in Yun Qi theory and setting up Yun on the basis of five temperament. [Conclusion] The interpretation of temperament background in the research of Five Yun and Six Qi theory has great significance.
