Wet sulphuric acid production process first adopted domestically in 10 kt/a alkylation spent acid regeneration plant, with easy to operate, low energy consumption, high conversion efficiency , and no generated waste is introduced. Operation of plant are sum- marized and operational issues and strategies are analyzed, the requirements for environmental standards and specifications being met with the adjustments of operational parameters. Hydrogen peroxide method is highly preferred to meet the new environmental regulations.
