Succession and Innovation of the Studies of Chinese Ancient Civilization in the Global Vision:A Speech by Professor PENG Fu-chun at Wuan University School of Chinese Classics

针对当下国学热兴起的诸多问题作了相应的思考和回应。国学的根本就是由儒、道、禅三家构成的中国的智慧。研究国学要有正确的态度,即承认、批判、继承、借鉴和创新。中国智慧对于当代中国乃至世界的问题都具有重要的意义。

This speech delivered by professor Peng fuchun at the School of Chinese Classics of Wuhan University responds to the hot issues aroused by the popularization of the studies of Chinese ancient civilization. The core of this subject is Chinese wisdom composed by Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. Studies of Chinese classics shall be approached in the rational way, that is, we shall recognize its value, criticize its defects, inherit and learn from its virtues, and be innovative. Chinese wisdom is significant to the solution of China and the world problems.
