硫脲硫酸锌晶体(100)面台阶微观形貌及其推移

Microtopography and Advancement of Steps on the(100) Face of ZTS Crystals

摘要 利用原子力显微镜对硫脲硫酸锌(ZTS)晶体(100)面进行扫描实验,观察到不同形式的台阶推移过程。实验发现:螺旋台阶及其所形成的生长丘均为四边形;与聚并台阶同向推移的单台阶将加剧台阶的聚并程度,而彼此可以合并的台阶相遇则能弱化台阶聚并程度;运动方向不同的聚并台阶和"准聚并台阶"均能与单台阶共存,单台阶的运动会增加台阶的聚并程度。通过对台阶棱边能的值分析可知,随着掺杂浓度的增加,(100)面台阶的推移速率会增大,有利于晶体生长。 The scan experiment of (100) face of zinc tris (thiourea) sulphate (ZTS) crystal was carried out by atomic force microscopy, and the process of step advancement within different forms was observed. It is found that the shape of spiral steps and the hillocks both appear quadrilateral. The single step moved in the same direction with bunching steps can aggravate the degree of bunching, but the steps merged with each other may weaken this situation. Although the bunching steps and quasi-macrosteps moving both in the different directions can coexist with single steps, the advancement of single steps can promote the step accumulation. The value of edge energy of steps was calculated. It is indicated that the advancement velocities of steps on (100) face could increase with the increase of doping concentration, which is conducive to crystal growth.
