从翻译场域看译入语社会经济网络的运行

Approaching Socio-Economic Network in Target Language Society from the Perspective of Translation Field

翻译不断加深的社会化属性使得翻译研究不能也不应局限于语言层面。将翻译置于一个由译入语社会国家权力部门、出版机构、赞助人、译者、职业评论家、最终读者/用户等行为体共同构建的社会经济网络中,是探究翻译社会性的有效手段。值得注意的是,该网络运行的依据是各行为体间因身份差异和不均衡的资本分配而形成的权力关系。本文基于布迪厄社会实践论中"场域"的概念,深入剖析译入语社会经济网络内部的资本分配及权力结构,以期重构翻译的社会实践过程。

The ever-increasing socialization of translation necessitates translation studies to go beyond hngulshc considerations.The study on the social nature of translation benefits a great deal from The Socio-economic Network approach, the proposed ana-lytical framework incorporating social actors that play key roles in a target language society, i.e. governmental authorities,publishers, patrons, translators, professional reviewers, readers/end-users. It is noteworthy that this network functions in ac-cordance with power relations caused by the actors＇ different identities and unbalanced capital allocation. The paper, based onPierre Bourdieu＇ s definition of ＂field＂ in his social practice theory, intends to reconstruct the social practice of translation byprobing the capital allocation and power hierarchy within The Socio-economic Network.
