试论许渊冲翻译思想的前瞻性

On Perspectiveness of Xu Yuanchong's Translation Theory

国内外具有重要影响的翻译家许渊冲,将理论与实践密切结合,在丰富的翻译实践基础上,对翻译活动进行了系统的探索,就翻译问题提出了一系列重要观点和富有挑战性的新见,一直致力于创建中国学派的文学翻译理论。本文就许渊冲的翻译思考与探索中所体现的前瞻性加以分析,提出对"中译外"研究的重视与开拓、文化翻译的"双向交流"观与对翻译之"道"的辩证把握,是许渊冲翻译思想前瞻性与开拓性的重要体现。

As a translator with great influence at home and abroad, Xu Yuanchong closely combines theories with practices.Based on his abundant translation practices, Xu Yuanchong explores translation activities systematically. He has put forward aseries of important ideas and new views relating to translation issues. Also, he has dedicated himself to creating a ChineseSchool of literature translation theory. This article analyses the perspectiveness in Xu Yuanchong＇ s thinking and exploration ontranslation. It proposes that his attention and development on studies of translating Chinese into foreign languages, his views of＂two-way communication＂ on literature translation, and his dialectical mastery of the ＂Way＂ of translation are all significantembodiment of the perspectiveness of his translation theory.
