基质金属蛋白酶-2在血管钙化中作用的研究进展

摘要 血管钙化是磷酸钙和碳酸钙等钙盐在血管细胞和组织问的沉积,是细胞外基质重塑的过程。既往认为血管钙化是机体衰老时出现的异位骨化,是血管疾病发展到终末期的变性表现,是钙磷代谢失衡导致钙盐在细胞内和细胞外基质的被动沉积过程。然而新近的研究发现,血管钙化并不是磷酸钙结晶在血管壁的简单而被动的沉积,而是一个主动的、可预防和逆转的高度可调控的过程,类似于生理状态下骨形成过程中的骨化。
