开放经济下金融集聚对技术创新的影响

The Impact of Financial Industry Cluster on Technological Innovation in Open-Economy

技术创新是一国经济增长的动力和源泉,而金融集聚对经济发展和技术创新具有十分重要的意义。运用2003—2012年中国257个地级市的面板数据和30个省的省级面板数据分别实证检验了金融集聚对技术创新影响作用。研究发现,金融集聚不仅对技术创新具有显著促进作用,同时金融集聚还会通过产业集聚效应、服务创新效应、信息扩散效应和人力资本效应对技术创新产生影响。其他如研发人员、纳税贡献度、固定资产投资、金融发展效率、城市道路面积和贸易等控制变量都对技术创新有显著正向促进作用,而控制变量FDI对技术创新的影响具有显著的滞后性,且滞后一期时效果更好。

Technology innovation is driving force and source of a country＇ s economic growth, and financial agglomeration is very important for economic growth. Based on this, this paper uses China＇ s 257 prefectures panel data and the provincial panel data of 30 provinces during 2003-2012 respectively to test the financial agglomeration effect on technology innovation. The study finds that financial agglomeration not only plays a significant role in promoting the technological innovation, but also influences the technological innovation by industrial agglomeration mechanism, service innovation mechanism and the effect mechanism of human capital. Other control variables such as research and development personnel,tax, fixed asset investment, financial development efficiency and contribution to the urban road area and trade have positive effect on technology innovation, and the control variable FDI has significant lag effect on technological innovation.
