7月，潍莱高铁建设动员大会在潍坊北站举行，这意味着山东省“三纵三横”快速铁路网的重要组成部分——潍坊至莱西高铁正式拉开建设序幕。继青岛2015世界休闲体育大会后，莱西，这座胶东内陆的县级城市再次进入了我们的视线。

In July,the mobilization meeting of the construction of Weifang-Laizhou HighSpeed Rail(hereinafter referred to as Wei-Lai HSR) was held in Weifang North Station,which means that the construction of Wei-Lai HSR,an important part of the 'Three Vertical and Three Horizontal' Rapid Rail Network of Shandong Province formally began.Since Qingdao 2015 World Leisure Games,Laixi,a county-level city in the Jiaodong inland has come into our sight again.Wei-Lai HSR,as a high speed railway between Weifang and Laixi,has been listed on the 2020 near-future comprehensive transportation program of Shandong Province.It becomes the 'Central Channel' of the 'Three Horizontal' Rapid Rail Network.Based on this high speed line,citizens from Pingdu and Laixi will travel more conveniently.At that time,trains go northward from Yantai and Weihai can directly arrive at Zibo and Jinan via WeiLai HSR,realizing the 'two hour life circle' between Jinan and Yantai.
