Social Development Index:The New Dimension of Measuring Development Degree of Social Organizations

社会发育指数反映社会发育的程度,是对社会组织作为独立于政府和市场的第三方力量在社会发展中所发挥作用进行评价的综合指数。根据当前我国社会组织的现状,并结合社会发育指数的相关数据,发现我国的社会组织在当前发展过程中存在如下问题:我国社会发育的程度远远落后于发达国家的水平,与发展中国家的水平还存在较大差距;从全国范围来看,我国社会发育呈现出区域性不平衡;当前我国经济发展与社会发展略显不平衡;当前我国城镇化的发展与社会发育不平衡。

Social development index reflects the degree of social development, namely the composite index of evaluation of the role played by the social organization as a third party independent of the government and market forces in social development. Combining the current situation of our country social organization with the relevant data of social development index, we found China＇s social organizations have such problems in their development： China lags far behind the developed countries in terms of the degree of social development, and there is a big gap between China and developing countries; nationwide, social development in our country presents a regional imbalance; there is a slightly unbalanced economic development and social development in our country; there is an imbalance between the development of urbanization and social development in China.
