苏雪林发起象征派诗歌论战原因探究——兼论苏雪林与胡适关系研究中的信度问题

Reasons for Modern Symbolist Poetry Debate Initiated by Su Xuelin:On the Reliability in the Study of Relationship between Su Xuelin and Hu Shi

对1959年苏雪林在台湾文坛发起的关于现代象征派诗歌论战原因进行考证:一是出于对新诗创作原则的维护;二是示好胡适以获得认同和肯定。借此发现苏雪林与胡适关系中被有意或无意忽视的东西,以弥补苏雪林与胡适关系研究中的盲点,即苏雪林对胡适的感情除了敬仰,也包含着极为世俗的和功利性的一面。同时,对历来研究中过多采信苏雪林-己言论从而造成的研究信度问题提出反思。

The paper analyzes the reasons for the modern Symbolist poetry debate in 1959 in Taiwan initiated by Su Xuelin. One reason is for the maintenance of the Su Xuelin＇s creative principle of poetry; the other is for the recognition and admiration of Hu Shi. It is revealed that Su Xuelin admired Hu Shi and at the same time he also had some worldly and material intentions. The paper also reflected on the reliability of previous research over-dependent on Su Xuelin＇s remarks.
