电力行业热动英语语料库的建设构想

Construction of Corpus of English for Thermal Energy and Power Engineering

通过语料库创建来开展专门用途英语(ESP)的教学与研究已成为目前普遍且可行的做法。高职热动英语教学中存在诸多问题,影响了教学的有效开展。文章提出创建电力行业热动英语语料库的构想,从建库目标、语料规模、文本采集和整理、语料标注以及教学应用等方面做了初步规划。

It has become widespread and feasible to conduct ESP（English for Specific Purposes）teaching and research through the construction of a corpus. There are many problems arising from the teaching of English for thermal energy and power engineering at vocational colleges, which have exerted negative influences on teaching. This paper proposes an idea of establishing an ESP corpus and makes an initial plan with regards to the objectives, corpus size, text collection and cleaning, annotation as well as its application in teaching practice.
