Modern Introspection of China' s Traditional Power Supervision Mechanism

为了保障我国社会主义市场经济健康有序地发展,必须进一步健全和完善社会主义权力监督机制。中国传统权力监督机制服务于最高统治者的根本利益,具有明显的以吏治吏的人治特征。但传统权力监督机制的某些制衡有效性及其追求清明社会的意义,值得研究并能从中得到有益的启示。

In order to ensure the healthy and orderly development of socialism market economy of our country, the socialism power mechanism must be further perfected. China' s traditional power supervision mechanism serves the fundamental interests of supreme rulers. Therefore it has the obvious characteristic of rule of person, which means some officials manage all the other officials. However, some traditional power supervision mechanisms, with significance of restriction validity and pursuing clean and just society, worth while to study so as to get some helpful enlightenments.
