口笔语句子产出的线性特征研究:来自二语语段加工的证据

The Linearity in Oral and Written Sentence Productions:Evidence from L2 Burst Processing

线性是语言学的基本原则之一。本研究选取英语专业本科生为受试,通过在线实验考察口笔语语段产出的类别、频次和分布,对比分析口笔语句子产出的线性特征。研究发现,口语语段的产出频率显著低于笔语,且没有超越当前加工语段的修改行为,口语句子产出只有时间上的一维线性。笔语中各类语段的产出频率远高于口语,笔语句子产出在时间线性和语言流利性上有所降低,但增加了语言加工的空间维度,笔语句子产出具有时间——空间线条性。

Lineadty is considered as one of the two general principles of linguistics. With English majors as the subjects, this paper makes a contrastive study of the linearity in L2 oral and written sentence produc- tion by observing the types, frequencies and distributions of bursts through an online experiment. The re- sults of the study show that the frequencies of bursts in oral production is significantly lower than that in written production, and no modification is made to previous bursts other than the present in oral sentence production. Thus the paper argues that, oral sentence production exhibits a one-dimension temporal line- arity, while higher frequencies of bursts give written sentence production a second dimension of processing and a temporal-spatial linearity emerges at the price of temporal linearity and fluency.
