This paper analyzes the metro vehicle rescue reasons, fault types and the correct disposal for the faulty vehicles, and com- pares the different rescue methods. By using metro normal train to rescue, the rescue train＇s traction--braking capacity can be made full use of, which can reduce the impact on normal operation, can improve the rescue efficiency, and has certain reference value for the engi- neering design and operation management.
