发展究竟意味着什么?发展是"天然合理"的吗?发展是唯一的目的吗?发展本身有好与坏的区分吗?对发展、发展观的审视,关联着人类生存正当性,从而构成美好生活的价值根基。一方面,历史上发展价值观的每一次变迁,都意味着人们对美好生活本质、样态、内容、目标、趋势等的理解的进一步拓展和加深,意味着人们对于何谓真正的"价值"、"意义"等的感受更为全面;另一方面,发展价值观自我矫正的过程,其实就是发展的逻辑不断回归公平正义与效率、先富与共富兼顾、发展成果人民共享的过程。发展价值观与美好生活逻辑的关联性思考,需要超越启蒙以来理性主义所标榜的纯粹实证科学的逻辑,强调反思批判性视角的有效介入。在更为直接的意义上,则意味着对作为发展价值观和美好生活的终极主体——人本身之存在理据、生存态度、生活方式之自主性选择逻辑和实践困境的深彻反思与自觉。

Development is closely related with human existence which is the base of better life. In human history, any change of development values means the further understanding of life essence, form, content, goal, trend and so on and also means further feeling of value, significance and others. In the logic of development, development values constantly return to fairness and efficiency, common prosperity, and development achievements shared by all. Development values and better life should be taken into consideration by way of scientific logic and critical view beyond rationalism. In a direct sense, the selections of human existence, attitudes and way of life and practices are completely reflected on.
