台湾捷运美丽岛站公共艺术策略的启示

Enlightenments of Public Art Strategy for ‘Beautiful Island Station'of Kaohsiung City Metro System in Taiwan

公共艺术在大陆正处于起步阶段,而在台湾经历了20多年的成长,蜕变到成熟。在生活节奏日益加快的今天,人们对捷运不仅是交通的需求,更有精神上的慰藉,因此公共艺术在捷运建设中尤为重要。它是民众生活多元形态的塑造者,更能给民众在匆忙穿梭于城市时带来富有视觉冲击的感官享受,也能体会到捷运公共艺术阐述的文化故事。通过对美丽岛站的设计、内容和理念进行分析整合,以期给内地提供参考,并得出启示,鼓励内地公共艺术政策的落实与推行;邀请世界大师参与设计、融合城市历史文化;打造主题性、加强前置性公共艺术设置,发挥最佳效益。

Public art in the mainland are in its infancy,and in Taiwan they have transformed into maturity over the recent 20 year. With the pace of life being increasingly accelerated,people not only ask for better riding experience in metro system but also exploring artistic values. It proves that public arts are important in the metro system as they would offer spiritual solace to the passengers. Moreover,they provide great visual enjoyment through interesting cultural stories when people are in a hurry shuttling through the tubes. The public arts in Kaohsiung metro station are studied as a case in light of the content of the design and the idea behind the design. In specific,the solutions are encouraging native public arts,inviting the world- class designers to participate in the metro project,fusing with historical city culture and creating thematic frontier public arts.
