With the development of research about the pathogenesis of cardio-cerebrovascular diseases,more and more attention is paid to insulin resistance.Recently,the relationship between insulin resistance and cardio-cerebrovascular diseases has been a hot area in clinical research.It is helpful for the diagnosis,distinguishment of disease severity and treatment of cardio-cerebrovascular diseases.This review provides a update on progress about relationship between in- sulin resistance and cardio-cerebrovascular diseases.
