论宗教意识形态与资本主义发展的关系——基于《儒教与道教》的分析

Relationship between the Religious Ideology and the Development of Capitalism——Analysis of Confucianism and Taoism

马克斯·韦伯在其宗教社会学著作《儒教与道教》一书中,把中国的儒教、道教与西方的清教进行对比,得出西方发展出资本主义的必然性以及中国没有进入资本主义社会的原因。这些结论是韦伯以西方为中心的立场去考察三种宗教的意识形态作用以及其对社会之影响的基础上得出来的。抛开以西方为中心的立场,从单纯的宗教的意识形态作用出发,来考量宗教意识形态对社会的影响和作用,这在当今社会仍具有很强的现实意义和指导作用。

Max Weber,in his book Confucianism and Taoism,compared Confucianism and Taoism in China with Puritanism in the West,and concluded the inevitability of the development of capitalism in the West and the reasons why China didn＇t enter the capitalist society. These conclusions are based on Weber＇s west-centered stance to examine the ideological role of the three religions and their impact on society. It is of great practical significance and guidance in today＇s society to break away from the west-centered standpoint and to consider the influence and role of religious ideology on society from the pure religious ideology.
