How Can Rural Candidates Round Their Dream?——A Talk on More than 700 Rural Candidate Enrolled by Beijing University

"寒门学子"难圆北大清华梦、读书无用论在社会底层蔓延;"寒门学子"输在了起跑线,向上流动通道越来越窄。针对这一现实情况,无论是政府还是高校,在招生政策上对农村生源进行了倾斜,积极推进城乡教育公平。然而,这些倾斜政策是基础教育不公背景下的补偿政策,难以根治城乡教育不公平问题。因此,"寒门学子"圆梦北大清华,拓展上升渠道,政府要从教育公平抓起,切实推进城乡基础教育均衡发展。

Rural candidates were difficult to round their dream of studying in Beijing University and Tsinghua University, because they lied in society bottom stretch. These rural candidates lost at starting line, and upward passageway became more and more narrow. Facing on this situation, government and universities have presented some policies to help these candidates,and carried out the education fairness. However, these inclining policies are only a compensation, it cannot to cure the deficiency of education of in rural areas. The unfairness still exists.Therefore, the government should promote education fairness and carry out the basic educational balanced development of town and rural countryside.
