Three Important Decisions of Upholding the Direction of the Reform——Xi Jinping's Statement of Upholding the Direction of the Reform

党的十八大之后,习近平针对改革发展方向作出的三次重大判断,消解了围绕改革开放前后两个历史时期关系、全面深化条件下改革开放的发展指向和结果评判问题上形成的认识困惑,为深刻认识关系改革发展性质、方向、目标的重大问题提供了科学方法,而党的十八届五中全会提出的五大发展理念与三次重大判断在内在关系上具有的吻合性、在实践要求上具有的一体性,决定了五大发展理念为把三次重大判断实践化提供了实现途径。

Since the 18 th National Congress, Xi Jinping＇s three important decisions of upholding the direction of reform solved problems of the confusion about the relationship between two historical periods before and after the reform and opening-up. Xi also made a clarification of the direction and achievement of the deeper-level reform. Xi＇s thought provided a scientific way of understanding the essence, direction, goals and other critical issues of the reform. Xi＇s three important decisions have an internal connection with the ＂Five Development Concepts＂ proposed at the 18 th National Congress. The internal coherence and consistency between two theories showed that the ＂Five Development Concepts＂ just paved the way for carrying out strategies of upholding the reform＇s direction.
