Mao Zedong, as a great man of the generation, initiated an important campaign against corruption after the foundation of the People＇s Republic of China. The campaign profoundly inspired our practice in fighting against corruption and upholding the Party＇s integrity. When the problem of corruption firstly emerged, Mao argued that if corruption was not curbed, the Party would lose prestige over its people. Mao finally initiated a great campaign against corruption to enhance supervision over the ＂sugar-coated＂ temptations of Capitalism to reduce its adverse effect on Party members and officials. He also adopted various anti-corruption strategies according to different conditions, making physical labor work as a critical way for enhancing the integrity and combating corruption of Party officials.Maintaining close ties with the people, the Party had achieved a great success in anti-corruption campaign.
