The original Hutong Roast-meat Restaurant was established in Taiwan in 2005. The restaurant mainly offers high-quality, Japanese-style roast meat. Now, there are nine outlets in Taiwan. The chain＇s first restaurant in the Chinese mainland opened in Shanghai in January 2014. Now, the chain has five outlets in China＇s mainland -- two in Shanghai, one in Shenzhen, one in Nanjing （in Jiangsu Province） and one in Xiamen （in Fujian Province）.
