There are many Chinese character containing "Li(立)", such as Li(立), Xin(辛), Yin(音), Qie(妾), Long(龙), etc. Their sources are different. The single character word "Li( 立)" is like a person standing on the ground. The "Li(立)" of "Xin(辛)" is the knife surface of a kind of ancient torture. The "Li(立)" of "Yin(音 )" likes the tongue. The "Li(立)" of "Qie(妾)" is the shape of a bun and the "Li(立)" of "Long(龙)" is the crown. Moreover, though there are "立" in Shang(商) and Di(帝), but there are differences in fact. The "立" in Shang(商) and the "Li(立)" in "Long(龙)" are the same, but the " " in "Di(帝)" is the base of a flower.
