民族团结教育是我国维护民族团结的重要手段。依托于互联网技术的新媒体为推动民族团结教育创新提供了广阔平台,给民族团结教育带来了手段多样化、主体大众化、范围扩大化的机遇。与此同时,新媒体时代,我国民族团结教育面临着诸多挑战,表现为网络民族主义、网络恐怖主义的兴起,新媒体成为破坏民族团结政治动员的重要工具。我国利用新媒体开展民族团结教育基础薄弱、技术手段相对落后。为了更好地利用新媒体深入推进民族团结教育活动,必须将新媒体建设提升到维系国家最高利益的认识高度,通过打造优质资源、夯实基础等手段合力推进民族团结教育创新。

National unity education is an important means to maintain national unity in China. The new media based on internet technology has provided a broad platform for the innovation of national unity education and the opportunity to promote diversification of means, popularization of subject and globalization in scope. At the same time, the new media has also proposed challenges such as causing the rise of online nationalism and online terrorism and becoming an important tool to undermine the political mobilization of national unity. At present, the utilization of new media in national unity education in China is still unsatisfactory. In the new media era, in order to enhance the education, the construction of new media should be regarded as an important task to maintain our country＇ s highest interest and innovations should be vigorously carried out in national unity education through building high quality resources and laying a solid foundation.
